Vlog on Banned Books

  1. I feel that you are extremely correct Jenna. Usually when making connections I feel that people always try to make a negative connection. Although I did not previously know that the book was considered sexist, I completely agree.

  2. I really agree with you. Forcing our genders onto plants and then seeing it a sexist due to our society is silly. Plants are plants. Very few trees have genders anyway....

  3. Great vlog! I indeed agree with you as well, people look at the tree as sexist because they look at the tree as a woman, but if the tree was portrayed as a man it would've still been discriminated. It's ridiculous how people look at things in a bad weird way, especially in a children's book. This book is one of my favorites and it had a great message that people don't really pay attention too. Overall, I enjoyed it and it was great! :)
